This specimen was lot 4237 in Goldberg sale 70 (Los Angeles, September 2012), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Hong Kong. 5 Cents, 1901. Victoria. Reflective fields with flashy white mint luster. PCGS graded MS-65." This type was struck at the Royal Mint 1872-1901 and this date is listed as common in all grades. British coinage for Hong Kong ceased in 1997 when the island was returned to China.
