Hong Kong 1903 5 cents

from the Stack's Bowers 2020 Collector's Choice sale, lot 71029

This specimen was lot 71029 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, February 2020), where it did not sell. The catalog description^[1] noted, "HONG KONG. 5 Cents, 1903. London Mint. PCGS MS-63 Gold Shield. A blast white and fully lustrous little silver coin." This type was struck 1903-05.

Recorded mintage: 6,000,000 + proofs.

Specification: 1.36 g, 0.800 fine silver, 15.2 mm diameter.
