This specimen was lot 1933 in Sedwick sale 25 (Winter Park, FL, May 2018), where it sold for $142.80. The catalog description[1] noted, "Honduras, 10 centavos, 1871, NGC XF details / cleaned. Very lightly cleaned with faint orange and blue toning all over, quite lustrous and detailed for XF, tough to find in this high of grade. NGC #4724563-011." This is the first dime of Honduras. The type was struck in 1871 only, accompanied by similar five, twenty-five, fifty centavos and one pesos. Only the twenty-five and fifty centavos were made in production quantities.
