This specimen was lot 2127 in Jean Elsen sale 163 (Brussels, November 2025), where it sold for €1,100 (about US$1,271 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"NEDERLAND, HOLLAND, Provincie, AV 14 gulden (gouden rijder), 1761. Vz/ Ridder n.r. met zwaard boven gekroond provinciewapen. Kz/ Gekroond Generaliteitswapen. Gereinigd. Montagesporen. (Netherlands, province of Holland, gold rider of 1761. Obverse: mounted knight with sword charges over the crowned arms of the province; reverse: crowned arms of the Generality. Cleaned, mount mark, Fine - Very Fine.)"

This type is recorded for 1749-51, 1761-63 only and is not common. It was the largest gold coin regularly issued in the United Provinces.
