This specimen was lot 859 in Sincona sale 69 (Zürich, May 2021), where it sold for 1,400 CHF (about US$1,858 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"THE NETHERLANDS | Province of Holland. 14 Gulden 1750. Goldener Reiter - Gouden rijder. Vorzüglich. (Netherlands, province of Holland, fourteen gulden of 1750, golden rider. Extremely fine.)"
This type was struck 1749-51, 1760-63. Despite the short span of issue, all seven of the United Provinces issued this type and it remained popular for a long time.
