This specimen was lot 4922 in Goldberg sale 74 (Los Angeles, June 2013), where it sold for $264.50 including buyer's fees. The catalog description[1] noted, "Netherlands - Holland. Lion Daalder, 1604. NGC graded AU-55." Lion daalders were struck in most of the provinces that today make up the Netherlands. This type is recorded in the SCWC for Holland for 1589-1605 with various mintmarks. The later type (Dav-4858) had the date at the top of the reverse.
