This specimen was lot 75530 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2024), where it sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS. Holland. Lion Dollar (Daalder), 1609. NGC EF-40. An appealing Extremely Fine specimen with rich details and handsome eye appeal." The leeuwendaalder and its half are famous in the numismatic world as being some of the worst struck coins in history. Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 27.68 g, 0.750 fine silver.

Catalog reference: Dav-4858; KM-17.
