This specimen was lot 2379 in Goldberg sale 93 (Los Angeles, September 2016), where it sold for $199.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "Mexico: Chihuahua. Peso, 1913 NGC VF. Hidalgo Del Parral. Revolutionary coinage. NGC graded Very Fine, Details (Obverse Scratched)." This silver peso issued in the state of Chihuahua is called the regular Hidalgo del Parral peso and is only scarce. The "Bolita" peso, so called after the circle surrounding the "1" on the reverse (KM 610), is one of the better known rarities of revolutionary coinage.
