This specimen was lot 41387 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $192. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Hannover. 4 Mariengroschen, 1771-IAP. Zellerfeld Mint. Georg III (George III of Great Britain). PCGS MS-62. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection." This type was struck 1762-86 and is common. Four mariengroschen was one ninth of a thaler.
