This specimen was lot 55558 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Pittsburgh, PA, August 2023), where it sold for $168. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Hannover. Taler, 1721-C. Zellerfeld Mint. Georg I Ludwig (George I of Great Britain). Very Fine Details -- Tooled, Harshly Cleaned. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection." This type was struck 1717-27 and is common. It shares the wild man reverse with Dav-2076 but has different arms on the obverse.
