This specimen was lot 1247 in Jean Elsen sale 136 (Brussels, March 2018), where it sold for €60 (about US$88 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"ALLEMAGNE, HAMBOURG, sous occupation française, AR 32 Schilling, 1808HSK. D/ Armes de la ville. R/ Valeur et date en quatre lignes. Très Beau. (Germany, city of Hamburg, under French occupation, silver 32 schilling of 1808. Obverse: city arms; reverse: value and date in four lines. Very fine.)"

This coin was struck while the port was under French occupation.

Recorded mintage: 210,000.

Specification: 18.32 g, 0.750 fine silver, .441 troy oz ASW.
