This specimen was lot 24041 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (Newport Beach, CA, January 2021), where it sold for $90. The catalog description[1] noted, "HAITI. Centime, 1895-A. Paris Mint. NGC MS-63 Brown. An elegant overall design, with a pleasing strike and deep brown surfaces." This type was struck 1886, 1894-95 during a brief period of political stability in Haiti. All issues seem to have been struck at the Paris mint altho not all are mintmarked. The coin is the same weight and alloy as a contemporary French five centimes.
