Haiti 1882 50 centimes
The first specimen was lot 2260 in Sincona sale 43 (Zürich, October 2017), where it sold for 800 CHF (about US$955 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"HAITI, Republik 50 Centimes 1882. Paris. Polierte Platte. FDC. Hübsche Patina. PCGS PR64. (Republic of Haiti, fifty centimes of 1882, Paris mint. Choice Proof, Attractive patina.)"
This type was struck 1882-83, 1887, 1890 and 1895 and is not rare in circulated condition tho is a better type. All issues seem to have been struck at the Paris mint. The coin is the same weight and fineness as a contemporary French 2½ francs.

Specification: 12.5 g, 0.835 fine silver, .335 troy oz ASW, reeded edge.
