This specimen was lot 7398 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2022), where it sold for $660. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREECE. 20 Drachmai, ND (1970). Kremnica Mint. Constantine II. NGC MS-66. Commemorating the Revolution of April 21, 1967, hence the 1967 date below the phoenix. A highly lustrous and attractive Gem quality example of this popular type, with light golden color." This commemorative was issued in 1970 by the ruling dictatorship to congratulate itself on the successful prosecution of the 1967 revolution which installed it in power. The regime collapsed in 1974 and the republic was restored. Silver and gold hundred drachmai were also minted on that occasion.
