This specimen was lot 34198 in Heritage sale 3082 (New York, January 2020), where it sold for $2,040. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain: Elizabeth II gold Proof "Marriage of William & Catherine" 5 Pounds 2011. Sold with the original case of issue and COA #0728." Interestingly, altho the SCWC shows this design in bimetallic copper-nickel/nickel-brass (KM 1203) and sterling silver (KM 1203a), it omits the gold version shown here.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 28.28 g, copper-nickel (KM 1203), 28.4 mm diameter; 28.28 g, 0.925 fine silver (KM 1203a); 39.95 g, 0.917 fine gold (KM 1203b).
