This specimen was lot 2327 in Goldberg sale 81 (Los Angeles, September 2014), where it sold for $94. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain. Halfcrown, 1936. George V. Mint state with a pleasant golden tone. Usually well circulated and bright. NGC graded MS-65." This type was issued 1927-36 and this date is common tho proofs are rare.

Recorded mintage: 7,039,000 plus a few proofs.

Specification: 14.14 g, 0.500 fine silver, 32.3 mm diameter.
