This specimen was lot 22859 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2019), where it sold for $204. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. 1/2 Sovereign, 1908. London Mint. PCGS AU-58 Gold Shield. Good strike, lustrous and attractive." This type was struck 1902-10 in considerable numbers and is the only half sovereign for Edward VII.

Recorded mintage: 3,997,000.

Specification: 3.99 g, 0.917 fine gold.
