This specimen was lot 30231 in Heritage Sale 3115 (Chicago, May 2024), where it sold for $720. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain: Edward VII gold Sovereign 1908 MS63 PCGS. A handsome, Choice offering. From the Ezen Collection." This type was struck 1902-10 in considerable numbers and is the only sovereign for Edward VII.

Recorded mintage: 11,729,000.

Specification: 7.99 g, 0.917 fine gold.
