This specimen was lot 30210 in Heritage Sale 3115 (Chicago, May 2024), where it sold for $1,440. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain: Victoria gold "Jubilee Head" Sovereign 1892 MS63 PCGS. Second legend, normal JEB, horse with long tail. The final year of the Jubilee head type. From the Ezen Collection." This type was struck 1887-92 in considerable numbers. It is known as the "Jubilee bust" as the obverse was introduced on the fiftieth anniversary of Victoria's reign. This date is common.

Recorded mintage: 7,105,000.
