Great Britain 1892 shilling
This specimen was lot 34338 in Heritage sale 3067 (Long Beach, September 2018), where it sold for $780. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain: Victoria Shilling 1892 MS67 PCGS. A piece which is virtually as-struck, save for an alluring patina that has developed over more than a century, most silver but with a faint seafoam green around the peripheries. A numismatic treasure, and the finest graded example at PCGS." This type was struck 1889-92 and is known as the "Jubilee head" for Queen Victoria (r. 1837-1901). It is a fairly readily available shilling in nice condition and none of the dates are rare.

Specification: 5.65 g, 0.925 fine silver.
