This specimen was lot 32945 in Heritage sale 3073 (Chicago, April 2019), where it sold for $360. The catalog description[1] noted, "Charles II 1/2 Crown 1679 VF35 NGC. Attractive glints of aquamarine tone, reddening slight towards the legends, which preserve striking radiant flow lines. From the Engelen Collection of World Coinage." This type was struck 1672-84 in some numbers and is pretty reasonable in circulated condition but choice examples, as always, are expensive.
