Sincona sale 47, lot 2736

This specimen was lot 2736 in Sincona sale 47 (Zürich, May 2018), where it sold for 350 CHF (about US$420 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SWITZERLAND, Stadt und Kanton Genf, 3 Sols 1791. Silberabschlag. Vorzüglich. (city and canton of Geneva, three sols of 1791, struck in silver. Extremely fine.)"

This type was accompanied by a six sols. Both were struck in billon and silver. Twelve sols = florin, 12 florins, 9 sols = thaler = 153 sols.
