This specimen was lot 4245 in Sincona sale 95 (Zürich, October 2024), where it sold for 150 CHF (about US$208 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Genf/Genève, Stadt und Kanton, 24 Sols (2 Gulden) 1644, Genf. Mzz. B. Selten. Sehr schön. Kratzer. (Switzerland, canton of Geneva, 24 sols or double gulden of 1644, Geneva mint, mintmark B. Rare, Very Fine, Scratch.)"
This type was struck 1644-47. One thaler was 96 sols. Whereas in Germany, a gulden was sixty kreuzer or ⅔ thaler; here, the gulden seems to be ⅛ thaler.
