This specimen was lot 5196 in Sincona Auction 102 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 170 CHF (about US$256 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ Genf/Genève, Stadt und Kanton, 3 Sols 1572, Genf. Mzz. G. Sehr selten. Fast sehr schön. (Switzerland, city and canton of Geneva, three sols of 1572, Geneva mint. Very rare, About Very Fine.)"

This type is listed in Numista for 1554-89, 1592-94. One thaler was 96 sols.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 4 g, billon, 26 mm diameter, this specimen 3.09 g.
