This specimen was lot 3230 in SINCONA Auction 97 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 2,500 CHF (about US$3,626 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Genf/Genève, Stadt und Kanton, Ecu pistolet 1571 G, Genf. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. Kleine Kratzer auf dem Revers. (Switzerland, canton of Geneva, écu pistolet of 1571, Geneva mint. Very Fine-Extremely Fine, Minor scratches on the reverse.)"
Friedberg lists this obscure type for 1562-86 and notes that the last écu pistolet was struck in 1642. Many varieties exist.
