This specimen was lot 3229 in SINCONA Auction 97 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 2,600 CHF (about US$3,771 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Genf/Genève, Stadt und Kanton, Ecu pistolet 1570 G, Genf. Gutes sehr schön. (Switzerland, canton of Geneva, écu pistolet of 1570, Geneva mint. Good Very Fine.)"
Friedberg lists this obscure type for 1562-86 and notes that the last écu pistolet was struck in 1642. Many varieties exist.
