This specimen was lot 1281 in SINCONA Auction 97 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 2,250 CHF (about US$3,264 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"DEUTSCHLAND Fürstenberg, Fürstentum, Karl Joachim, 1796-1804. Konventionstaler 1804, Stuttgart. Münzmeister Johann Christian Heuglin. Stempelschneider Johann Ludwig Wagner. Selten. Nur 388 Exemplare geprägt. Gutes vorzüglich. Übliche kleine Schrötlingsfehler. (Germany, principality of Furstenberg, Charles Joachim, 1796-1804, convention thaler of 1804, Stuttgart mint. Rare. The SCWC catalogs this under Fürstenberg-Stühlingen, a partition of Fürstenberg that vanished in 1744. The Fürstenberg-Fürstenberg line was the only one to survive until mediatization in 1806, when most of its domain went to Baden. This is the only thaler from the nineteenth century.
