This specimen was lot 5120 in Sincona sale 80 (Zürich, October 2022), where it sold for 400 CHF (about US$480 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "SWITZERLAND | Freiburg/Fribourg | Stadt und Kanton, Halbbatzen 1798, Freiburg. Rare in this condition. About uncirculated." This type was issued 1741, 1746, 1751-54, 1767-74, 1787-89, 1793, 1797-98 with variation in shields. Whereas in most of the Swiss cantons 160 kreuzer made a thaler, in Fribourg 56 kreuzer made a gulden.
