This specimen was lot 2072 in Sincona sale 25 (Zürich, October 2015), where it sold for 28,000 CHF (about US$34,586 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Ducat n. d. (after 1530). Old city arms with small eagle in quadrilobe. Rev. St. Nicholas of Myra standing facing with crozier, mitra and nimbus. The three golden balls on the Book of Gospels. Of the highest rarity. Very fine-extremely fine."
This undated issue was likely issued at the same time as this very similar thaler (Dav-8728).
