The first specimen was lot 3183 in Sincona sale 91 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 3,500 CHF (about US$4,625 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Freiburg/Fribourg, Stadt und Kanton, Batzen 1561, Freiburg. Mindere Jahreszahl 61 am Ende der Rückseitenumschrift. Sehr selten. Gutes sehr schön. (Switzerland, canton of Fribourg, batzen of 1561, with the abbreviated date at the end of the reverse legend. Very rare, Good very fine.)"
The second specimen was lot 1313 in Sincona Auction 103 (Zürich, May 2026), where it did not sell. The catalog description[2] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Freiburg/Fribourg, Stadt und Kanton, Batzen 1561, Freiburg. Mindere Jahreszahl 61 am Ende der Rückseitenumschrift. Sehr selten. Schön-sehr schön. Gewellt und Schrötlingsriss. (city and canton of Fribourg, batzen of 1561, Fribourg mint, abbreviated date at the end of the reverse legend. Very rare, Fine-Very Fine, Wavy flan and flan crack.)"
