This specimen was lot 74476 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $65. The catalog description[1] noted, "FRENCH INDO-CHINA. 20 Centimes, 1921-A. Paris Mint. PCGS MS-63. a crisp and enchantingly Choice specimen that yields dazzling brilliance and some hints of toning throughout." This twenty cent piece is one of a type issued for French Indo-China during 1921-30. French Indochina was occupied by the Japanese in 1940.

Recorded mintage: 3,663,000, a slightly better date.

Specification: 4.50 g, 0.680 fine silver, 25.9 mm diameter.
