This specimen was lot 33447 in Heritage sale 3035 (Long Beach, September 2014), where it sold for $470. The catalog description[1] noted, "French Colony 10 Centimes 1943 MS64 NGC. This type was never released for circulation, and is therefore almost never encountered." This type is accompanied by similar five and twenty five centimes, also rare.

Recorded mintage: est. 13,000,000.

Specification: aluminum bronze.
