This type was struck 1775-90 from numerous mints in the final years of the ancien régime. Droulers[2] notes this tenth écu au buste habillé from the Paris mint as a common date.

Recorded mintage: 111,350.

Specification: 2.95 g, 0.917 fine silver, 21-22 mm diameter, reeded edge, designed by Benjamin Duvivier.
