This specimen was lot 1196 in Goldberg sale 128 (Los Angeles, June 2022), where it sold for $810. The catalog description[1] noted, "France. Ecu d'or a la croisette, ND-A (Paris). Francis I, 1515-1547. Crowned arms. Reverse: Plain cross. Pop 1; 1 in 62. PCGS graded AU-58." This is an écu d'or à la croisette, premiere type struck for François I at Paris ("A" mintmark, one of the first coins issued after the mintmark reform). Friedberg also mentions a demi-écu d'or à la croisette. This coin had a face value of 45 sols tournois.
