This specimen was lot 1019 in Jean Elsen sale 159 (Brussels, June 2024), where it sold for €420 (about US$539 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"VLAANDEREN, Graafschap, Philips de Stoute (1384-1404), halve gouden engel, 1387-1388, Gent. Oude vervalsing in verguld koper. Vz/ Rechtopstaande engel met de wapens van Bourgondië en Vlaanderen. Kz/ Gebloemd kruis in een achtpas. In de hoeken vier leeuwen. Klein stukje uit de rand. Zeer Fraai. Uit onze veiling 106, 11 september 2010, 687. (county of Flanders, Philip the Bold, 1384-1404, half gold angel, circa 1387-88, Ghent mint, an old forgery in gilded copper. Obverse: Upright angel with the coats of arms of Burgundy and Flanders; reverse: Floral cross in an octolobe, cantonned with four lions. Chipped, very fine.)"

A genuine example of this coin would sell for at least one hundred times the price realized here.
