This specimen was lot 3548 in Goldberg sale 62 (Beverly Hills, February 2010), where it sold for $212.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "Eritrea. 50 Dollars, 1993. Independence Day. Seaport scene. Choice Brilliant Proof." With the exception of a series issued in 1997, all the coinage of this nation appears to be NCLT's.
