This specimen was lot 70661 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2022), where it sold for $660. The catalog description[1] noted, "ERITREA. 100 Dollars, 1993-PM. Pobjoy Mint. NGC PROOF-70 Ultra Cameo. Commemorating Independence Day. This lovely flawless beauty offers a stunning strike and rich cameo nature. Sure to catch many eyes and attract many bids on account of the beauty." With the exception of a series issued in 1997, all the coinage of this nation appears to be NCLT's.
