This specimen was lot 24969 in Heritage sale 3024 (Chicago, April 2013), where it sold for $2,232.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Emilia. Vittorio Emanuele II Lira 1859-B, MS64 NGC, a choice and fully original coin with rich silvery-gray patina and full underlying mint luster. Very rare in this superior quality." This was a provisional issue from Bologna while the kingdom of Italy was being organized in 1859-60.

Specification: 5 g, 0.900 fine silver, .144 troy oz AGW.
