This specimen was lot 1459 in Stephen Album sale 32 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2018), where it sold for $82.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "EGYPT: Republic, AR 5 pounds, 1981/AH1401, International Year of the Child - children holding hands and dancing around stylistic globe, PCGS graded PF69 DC." This is one of six different five pound NCLT's issued in 1981.
Recorded mintage: 10,000 proofs.
