This specimen was lot 6328 in Künker sale 336 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €500 (about US$654 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DOMINIKANISCHE REPUBLIK, Republik. 100 Pesos 1975. Präkolumbianisches Artefakt. GOLD. Polierte Platte. (Dominican Republic, one hundred pesos of 1975, Taino Art. Proof.)"
This NCLT is the first of its denomination, which was used for a number of commemoratives. A silver ten pesos was also issued.
Recorded mintage: 18,000 plus 2,000 proofs.
Specification: 10 g, 0.900 fine gold, 0.289 troy oz AGW.
