This type was struck 1924-26 for Christian X (1912-47) as king of Denmark and this date is scarce in all grades. This denomination was struck in silver prior to 1916. This specimen was lot 24580 in Heritage sale 3032 (Chicago, April 2014), where it sold for $353.68. The catalog description[1] noted, "Christian X Krone 1924 (h) HCN-GJ, Copenhagen mint, VF25 NGC. An evenly circulated example of this rare date with a SCWC value in VF of $1500."
