This specimen was lot 3321 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it sold for $83.30. The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK: Christian X, 1912-1947, AR 25 øre, 1914, initials VBP-GJ, attractive light tone, key date, Choice About Unc." Danish currency endured several "reforms" in the nineteenth century. In 1874, the coinage was reformed again to the current system of 100 øre = one krone. This type is listed for 1913-18. This denomination ceased to be silver after 1919.

Recorded mintage: 347,000, a scarce date.

Specification: 2.42 g, 0.600 fine silver.
