This specimen was lot 74518 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $105. The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. Rigsbankdaler, 1848. Copenhagen Mint. Christian VIII. PCGS EF-40." This type was struck 1842-43 and 1846-48 at Copenhagen and is somewhat scarce altho this example realized only one-third of the catalog value. The Altona mint in Schlewsig-Holstein contributed in 1844-47.
