The first specimen was lot 50397 in Ponterio sale 168 (Philadelphia, August 2012), where it sold for $324. The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. Rigsbankdaler, 1843FK-VS. NGC MS-62. NGC MS-62." This type of 1842-48, like many European minors, is scandalously undervalued. It was struck at Copenhagen (shown here) and Altona (mintmaster FF). This denomination was introduced in the reform of 1813. After the reform of 1854, the monetary system was 96 skillings = 1 rigsdaler, 2 rigsdaler = 1 (old) speciedaler. In 1874, the coinage was reformed again to the current system of 100 øre = 1 krone.
