This specimen was lot 10312 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €1,920 (about US$2,001). The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. Krone, 1699. Copenhagen Mint. NGC AU-58. Lovely example of this exquisite Crown. From the L. E. Bruun Collection. Ex: Johan G. Guildal Collection (Private Sale-1918)." The SCWC notes two different kroner for 1699: KM 428.1/Dav-3648 (1693-99, Christian IV, crown reverse) and KM 448/Dav-1287A (1699-1702, Frederick IV, three shields reverse). Both are very scarce. One krone was four mark or two-thirds speciedaler.

Specification: 17.94 g, 0.833 fine silver, 36.3 mm diameter.
