This specimen was lot 10058 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €960 (about US$1,001). The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. Mark, 1546. Christian III. NGC AU Details--Tooled. With environmental damage and heavily cleaned; all Marks from Christian III are rare. From the L. E. Bruun Collection. Ex. Countship of Brahesminde Collection (Private Sale - 1922)." At this time, one gulden was three mark or 48 skilling.
