This specimen was lot 40722 in Ponterio sale 168 (Philadelphia, August 2012), where it sold for $2,585. The catalog description[1] noted, "POLAND. Danzig. 5 Gulden, 1923. NGC PROOF-63. From the Demarete Collection." This type was issued 1923 and 1927 only and is scarce.

Recorded mintage: 700,000 plus proofs.

Specification: 25 g, 0.750 fine silver.
