This specimen was lot 3529 in Goldberg sale 62 (Beverly Hills, February 2010), where it sold for $506. The catalog description[1] noted, "Dahomey. 2500 Francs, 1971. Tenth Anniversary of Independence. Dancers. Only gold issue from Dahomey. NGC graded Proof 68 Ultra Cameo." Dahomey was renamed the Republic of Benin in 1975.
