This specimen was lot 22204 in Stack's Bowers ANA Auction (Denver, CO, August 2017), where it sold for $282. The catalog description[1] noted, "CUBA. ABC Peso, 1939. NGC MS-63. Good strike with attractive luster." The type was struck in the United States for Cuba 1934-39 using silver dollar blanks. Most were held in government vaults as backing for paper currency and later melted; the original mintage has little bearing on the number of survivors.

Specification: 26.73 g, 0.900 fine silver, .773 troy oz AGW.
