This is a silver two reales struck for the province of Cordoba, Argentina. It was lot 16026 in Heritage sale 410 (Long Beach, June 2006), where it sold for $149.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Cordoba. 2 Reales 1844, choice AU-UNC, fully lustrous and very well-defined for this crude provincial coinage. Decidedly scarce and desirable quality!" The type was struck 1844-45 with many varieties.
